FAQ’s
Anytime! All courses are "on-demand", meaning you can start them any time you like. They are all online and self-directed. You will have access to the course for the duration of your subscription (e.g. 1 calender month or longer).
Yes! All courses are formally approved by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) in the United Kingdom and worldwide. This means your course certificate will contain the IChemE approved logo and you will earn continuing professional developent (CPD) hours depending on the duration of the course. CPD hours are roughly equivalent to Continuing Education Units (CEU) or PDH (professional development hours).
Much of the Baobab content was developed and delivered in lectures by our staff at Robert Gordon University (RGU) in Aberdeen, Scotland, for their Postgraduate Masters degrees related to Energy Engineering.
All courses on the Baobab site can be tailored and delivered live online or in-house. Please view the "In-house training" menu item or contact us for more details at [email protected]
On the Sign Up page you can choose between 1) An individual course, 2) The Video Library (all or specific subjects) or 3) Full access (all courses and the complete video library). The difference features are outlined in the table (see Subscription Options section of home page). All subscriptions are valid for the specific length of time selected (i.e. 1 month, 3 months etc.) from the date of purchase.
Your account is created (and your subscription period starts) on successful receipt of payment. You will receive an email containing your temporary log in details. Your subscrition is active for the specific duration of time selected (for example, 1 month). You can extend your subscrition period or add other courses as required.
